A Look at the Hope Village Property

Right outside of Kampala, Uganda, are 20 acres that are soon to host the Hope Village! The property will not only care for 200 orphans, but it will serve as a launching pad for with outreach programs into the community, such as a school, AIDS education programs, youth activities and medical care. As you can see from the pictures, this is a beautiful spot that once developed will be able to host a myriad of development programs that extend the love of God into all of Kampala.

Currently, a school (K-12) already exists on the property to serve the surrounding villages. It will expand to educate the orphans as well. All children in Uganda wear uniforms to school and both boys and girls keep their hair very short.

Also, on the 20 acres currently, is a Bible College which trains 40 new Pastors every year. Equipping them and then returning them to their communities in Uganda and surrounding countries.

But, construction has begun! Some buildings that were already present on the property wrecked by water damage over the years are currently being renovated.

Currently, we are working to raise money for infrastructure. Due to the security environment in Uganda, a wall must be built around the property before construction can begin on the actual Orphanage buildings. Furthermore, ground must be cleared and roads laid throughout the property to allow for easier access.

The Rest of the Hope Village Vision can be built as quickly has money comes in.
